Carina Giacomelli
Hi, I’m Carina.
I’m a photographer, food stylist, and art director with a deep love for beautiful, craveable food imagery. I lead with a collaborative spirit and a hands-on approach, partnering with brands like Publix, Smucker’s, and Bolthouse to bring their products to life through thoughtful, world-class visuals.
With roots at Parsons School of Design and a background that spans wearable technology, fine arts, graphic design, and culinary work, I bring a unique perspective to every project—blending color theory, composition, and storytelling to elevate everyday ingredients. Over the years, I’ve styled and photographed everything from digital campaigns to packaging and original recipes for leading CPG food brands.
When I’m not in the studio, I’m usually wrangling my two toddlers, lending a hand at my husband’s bakery, or working in our two acre food forest and veggie garden alongside my chickens. I also collect and create handcrafted ceramics—many of which make their way into shoots.
Curious, scrappy, and endlessly inspired, I love what I do—and I’m always up to solve the next creative challenge.
